AFS, NFU and the AHDB are well underway with planning for Red Tractor Week 2010. Our high profile celebrations of 10 years of great food, great farming and great standards will engage the media and create a spike of awareness for Red Tractor. But to really make a difference and put Red Tractor on people’s radar, we need as many of you to get behind it as possible. Read on to find out what will be happening and how you can get involved now.

What's on?
Day one

High profile stunt involving 10 red tractors driving down Whitehall for a photo-call
Day two Celebrity brand ambassador media interviews highlighting why shoppers should look out for Red Tractor logo.
Days two-five Red Tractor commissioned Outdoor Eating consumer research including the UK’s top outdoor eating spots featured in national and regional news.
Days three-four Red Tractor Outdoor Eating Area at FACE event in Stoneleigh (16/17 June) interacting with 5000 school children.
Days five-seven Launch of the online Red Tractor Outdoor Eating Guide, which will be jam-packed with recipes, picnic spots and outdoor eating tips and even an interactive kids section. Plus look out for Red Tractor promotions in the national media which will help educate over a million consumers.

If you are planning attendance or activity at any events in the build up to or during Red Tractor Week 2010 (eg Taste of London, Open Farm Sunday, BBC Good Food Show, Cereals Event, etc) then please contact us for more details on how you can help spread the Red Tractor word.

We would welcome your help with everything from recipe contributions and celebrity ambassador quotes on their favourite outdoor eating spots and recipes, so please get in touch if you think you can help with this project.
